A french-armenian daily school for Valence, France

Passing down the Armenian language from generation to generation is the key to preserving our identity and culture in the Diaspora. The most effective instrument for achieving this goal is the founding of Armenian daily schools where the children can learn, think and interact in Armenian.

There are 7 French-Armenian daily schools accross the country, located in the Paris region, Lyon, Marseille and Nice. Valence is the only city with a strong Armenian community that does not have a daily school.

"School is the crucible where the future of a generation is made."

Henri Rolland de Villacreux, L'écolier (1840)
